Cactus Clayworks is a small-batch ceramic studio in Austin, Texas.
They specialize in unique terracotta planters celebrating the leggy lower half of the body.
approach
Highlighting the earthy yet feminine nature of Cactus Clayworks ceramic pieces, we created a logo that feels soft, strong, and handmade. This illustrative logo kit was inspired by the southwest, with blooming nopales and their pollinating companions, hummingbirds, to signify abundance and growth. The archway made of imperfect stones and worn brick embodies the kiln, which takes soft clay and turns it into something much stronger.
